Filetto alla Voronoff was an excellent dish. The steak itself was cooked perfectly and the sauce added just the right touch. I was really surprised by the side of potatoes tossed in rosemary, highly recommend. Excited to come back again!

My wife and I are of Italian descent and in our sixties. We have been together for 40 years, lived in four states and travel to many others. We were fortunate to be able to visit Italy some years ago. It all that time and all that travel we have never found a better Italian restaurant. The food and service are second-to-none here. This is real Italian cuisine, for many of you it will seem very different. Please be open to this. If you come with an open mind and an open heart you will leave happy and satisfied. Trust you hosts to take good care of you, because they will. Mangia, Buon Appetito .
Spaghetti "alla Puppo"
My fiancé is Italian and we would try places and he was never very excited about them after BUT then we found this place. He wants to go back all the time! You will not be disappointed. Also the service is great and I'm a cocktail girl and they made really good cocktails.
Pasta "Cacio e Pepe" condita nella forma di Pecorino Romano
This sauce was so cheesy the noodles were cooked to perfection. This dish is a 100/10...I was unsure what to get but my waiter sold me on this dish and I'm glad he did! Will be coming back and ordering this same thing!

Lo Stella never disappoints. Always a fantastic experience with fantastic food and excellent service. Though the Nonna Laura is my go to, the Cacio y Pepe and Nonna Pulpo are also excellent. The Pulpo appetizer is also a winner.
Ravioli di pesce in crema di gamberi
We celebrated our anniversary dinner here a few months ago. The fish ravioli is out of this world and the Italian wine selection is impressive. In short, this place is bursting with character as well as flavor. Service is attentive (better than in Italy) without being obsequious. It's got a hole-in-the-wall feel you can easily spend all night here.
